I went to the University of Kansas and began my career as a General Assignment Reporter for a newspaper in the Midwest. I moved on to corporate America to work at a mortgage banking firm, then to their parent company's regional office in Overland Park, KS. I then moved on to a retirement plan company. After, I began working at a large telecommunications company and while at the telecom, I earned a Master's Certificate in Project Management.
I used my Project Management expertise at Genesis 10 in Kansas City and I really enjoyed my time at Gen10 but my contracting work for Bank of America came to an end December 2014.
I have since continued to search for Project Management work and would enjoy being contacted by anyone looking for an experienced Project Manager.
A Few of My Project Management Skills:
• Project Risk Management

• Waterfall, Agile and Scrum

• Trained Remote Resources

Thank you for your consideration.
When not at work, I really love to watch pro football and college football games. I played a lot of basketball in middle and high school and I still enjoy shooting around but mostly enjoy watching college basketball and the NCAA tournament.
When the weather is nice, I enjoy the outdoors. I grew up camping and traveling and have visited every state in the US. I must credit my parents for this due to our time spent vacationing across America when I was growing up.
I've also had a few experiences outside of the United States as well. I've spent a day enjoying Helsinki, Finland and a week in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.
The most interesting experience of this trip was standing about 10 feet away from Vladimir Lenin in his mausoleum in Red Square.
My favorite season is winter as one can savor the being indoors with blankets and loved ones playing card games, binging TV shows and enjoying our dog, Leia.
Two of our three kids aren't living with us, with one of them living and learning at Cambridge University, UK during the winter of 2021/2022. We will be visiting.
I love the Midwest and can't envision living anywhere else except maybe when we retire to the US Virgin Islands or some other tropical paradise.
If I'm able to find a remote Project Manager position, my wife would love to move to Italy. I would work nights, days or whenever I'm needed!
